La Cholla Hills is a age-restricted community of 389 townhomes and casitas located in northwest Tucson across from Tucson National Golf Course.
Most of the homes in La Cholla were built in the mid- to late 1980s and many have been renovated since then. They are single-story and of slump block construction, which looks much like brick. Homes average about 1,400 square feet.
The community has a rec center, tennis and pickle ball courts, pools and beautifully maintained common areas. There are also lots of nearby bike paths. The neighborhood is close to a variety of Oro Valley shopping (Foothills Mall) and dining, both cafes and fine dining options; shopping and medical care (Northwest Hospital).
