Borderlands Brewing Company is a mainstay of the Downtown district. Recently they have opened a satellite location in the historic Sam Hughes District, closer to the University District.
This new location has a wide selection of famous Borderlands’, as well as cider and mead. Borderlands Sam Hughes also offers a limited but crafty cocktails. The kitchen, partnered with Chef Maria, offers an amazing array of food offerings.
Staffed by a crew of very friendly and accomodating folks, the facility has a large dog friendly veranda on the north side (front) of the building, the interior consists of three cozy rooms. The front room has a large coffee table nearby a comfortable couch, with two extra chairs. The second and third rooms host large picnic style tables, with a couple of extra chairs. The facility also offers two separate restrooms to help alleviate lines, which are common in brewery taprooms.

Not only is the new Borderlands located in the Historic Sam Hughes neighborhood, it is surrounded by the University, Rincon Heights, Catalina Vista/Blenman-Elm, Miramonte El Conquistador and Broadmoor Broadway Neighborhoods.
