Neighborhood spotlight: Eagle Crest Ranch

Approximately 20 miles north of downtown Tucson is a beautiful community of larger homes tucked away between Catalina and Saddlebrooke.

In the planning stage since the 1980s, Eagle Crest Ranch didn't break ground until nearly 2000, with its first residents moving in during the early 2000s. Now, however, the community is a thriving suburban community just outside the hustle and bustle of Tucson.

Eagle Crest is located just south of Oracle Junction along AZ 77(Oracle Road) and west of Saddlebrooke. The Catalina foothills provide the perfect backdrop for this fantastic community of single-family homes.

While its location further out of the city provides a slower pace and quieter atmosphere, potential buyers can also enjoy getting a little more home for their money being a little further outside the city.

The commute from Eagle Crest into Oro Valley or Tucson is an easy one. There are many nearby dining and shopping amenities along Oracle Road, as well as south into Cataline and Oro Valley just a few minutes down the road. Eagle Crest residents may also enjoy games of golf at nearby Saddlebrooke with an annual or day pass play options.

Homes in Eagle Crest Ranch are mainly contemporary with two- or three-car front-facing garages. Homes range from approximately 1,230 square feet to more than 3,600 square feet.

Most of the homes are situated on lots of a third of an acre or less, many of which have beautiful mountain views.

The neighborhood has a small playground and mixed-use field but does not have any other neighborhood amenities such as pools or clubhouse.

Eagle Crest is officially located in Pinal County but is situated right on the Pinal-Pima line. The neighborhood is served by Oracle School District schools.
