The Chiricahua National Monument Park is a truly incredible wonderland right outside of Tucson, AZ.  They are one of the many fun things to do in the Tucson, AZ area.  Owning a home in the Tucson, AZ area has many benefits.  Of course, our year-round fantastic weather, the relatively low cost of housing and low real estate taxes, the stability of our housing market and the odds of appreciation are all good reasons to buy a property in Tucson or to sell your current home and upgrade into one that better suits your needs and wants.  But, the recreational options in the Tucson area are numerous and truly add something special to the Tucson area.  

The Chiricahua's are a unique area chock-full of wonderous rock formations.  There are 17 miles of trails throughout the park for hiking, camping, rock-climbing, and enjoying the feeling of being in an outdoor area that is simply fantastical.  There also is an 8-mile scenic drive throughout the park culminating in a breathtaking vista. Verdant vegetation abounds.  The trees offer shaded areas and the abundant wildlife is a photographer or naturephiles dream come true. There's a Faraway Historic Distric as well where one can discover more about the people who once lived in this area.  Education and youth programs are also available.  Imagine yourself taking a 45 min - 2 hr drive (depends where one lives in the Tucson-area) to enjoy The Chiricahua National Monument by yourself, with your loved one, and/or with your family.  It's a great way to spend a day.
